How we handle personal data on onterion-ai.com — in line with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

2. Overview
This is a static website. It sets no cookies, uses no analytics or tracking services, loads no external fonts or scripts, and builds no user profiles. Personal data is processed only in the cases described below.
3. Hosting and server log files
This website is hosted by Hostinger International Ltd., 61 Lordou Vironos Street, 6023 Larnaca, Cyprus ("Hostinger"). When you visit the site, the web server automatically processes technical data transmitted by your browser: IP address, date and time of the request, requested URL, referrer URL, browser type and operating system. This data is processed to deliver the website securely and reliably (Art. 6 (1)(f) GDPR — legitimate interest in the secure operation of the site). Server log files are stored by the hosting provider for a limited period and are not merged with other data sources. We have concluded a data processing agreement (Art. 28 GDPR) with Hostinger; hosting takes place in data centres within the EU.
4. Contact form (FormSubmit)
Our contact form is operated using FormSubmit (formsubmit.co), a form-forwarding service that transmits your form entries to us by email. When you submit the form, the data you enter (name, company if provided, email address, message) and technical metadata are processed on FormSubmit's servers, which are located in the United States.
The United States is a third country within the meaning of the GDPR, and a level of data protection equivalent to that in the EU cannot be guaranteed there. The transfer is based on Art. 49 (1)(b) GDPR: it is necessary to respond to your inquiry and thus for taking steps at your request prior to entering into a contract. By submitting the form, you also acknowledge this transfer. If you prefer not to route your message through a US service, simply email us directly at team@onterion-ai.com — you lose nothing by doing so.
The legal basis for processing your inquiry itself is Art. 6 (1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual communication) and Art. 6 (1)(f) GDPR (our legitimate interest in answering messages addressed to us). We retain inquiry emails for as long as needed to handle your request and any follow-up, and delete them when statutory retention obligations permit.
5. Contact by email
If you email us directly, we process your email address and the content of your message to handle your inquiry (Art. 6 (1)(b) and (f) GDPR). Our mailbox for team@onterion-ai.com is operated by our hosting provider within the EU.
6. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you (Art. 15),
- rectification of inaccurate data (Art. 16),
- erasure (Art. 17) and restriction of processing (Art. 18),
- data portability (Art. 20),
- object to processing based on legitimate interest (Art. 21),
- withdraw any consent you have given, with effect for the future (Art. 7 (3)).
To exercise these rights, email team@onterion-ai.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. The authority responsible for us is the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information of North Rhine-Westphalia (LDI NRW), Kavalleriestraße 2-4, 40213 Düsseldorf, Germany.
7. No obligation to provide data
You can visit this website without providing any personal data beyond the technical minimum described in Section 3. Providing data via the contact form or by email is voluntary; without it, we simply cannot respond to you.
8. Changes to this policy
We will update this privacy policy when the website's functionality or legal requirements change. The current version is always available at onterion-ai.com/privacy/.
